Rebecca Smith
MANAGER
Bec has worked at Kensington Neighbourhood House since 2014. She joined the house as Education Coordinator and moved into the Manager’s role in 2021. As a longtime Kensington resident, Bec is passionate about helping the Kensington community be the best it can be. and believes that it really does “take a village” to create meaningful change.
Esther Sadek
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENt SPECIALIST
Esther joined KNH in 2018 after many years working with Cancer Council Australia. She excels at consulting with community members and developing programs that engage our most marginalised residents. Esther is particularly focused on reducing social isolation in our community and encouraging human connections across cultures and age groups.
Freyja Dixon
EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Freyja is the newest member of our team, having joined Kensington Neighbourhood House in 2021. She is responsible for all of our pre-accredited training programs and full of ideas for engaging adult learners. Freyja has forged strong relationships with local mothers and enjoys taking a whole-of-family approach to education.
Kerrie Jones
ADMIN OFFICER
Kerrie is another long term Kensington resident and has been keeping KNH running smoothly since 2012. Hers is the first voice people hear over the phone and usually the first face to greet them on arrival. Kerrie’s amazing memory, attention to detail, and genuine care for participants make KNH the warm and welcoming place it is.
